CCQG Supports Charities

​

Each year we make projects for selected charities.

 

In 2023, our members worked together by making a block each month to be assembled by our able bodied Thursday group into full size quilts and also individually to make over 80 quilts to donate to local charities.  This year we were proud to make donations to the Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic and Sexual Violence Center,  the Redeeming Love Foster Closet and the Oasis Pregnancy Care Center. ​

In 2024 we will make more quilts for foster closets and Sunrise Women’s Shelter and pillowcases for Ryan’s Cases for Smiles.  We are also making walker bags for the VA and fidget quilts for Alzheimer adults and special needs children.
